Tama DST1465 Soundworks Steel 6.5″x14″ Snare Drum

Tama DST1465 Soundworks Steel 6.5″x14″ Snare Drum

For aggressive rock to delicate balladeering, the 14″ TAMA Soundworks Steel snare drum covers a vast range of needs. Its carefully engineered, center-beaded shell neutralizes the honky overtones that plague so many steel snares in this price range. But that’s not to say the Soundworks Steel lacks attitude — crank it up for a satisfying bark, or detune for a fat pocket. This snare has the projection needed for live sets yet maintains a dry, focused attack that makes it exceptional for studio sessions. The TAMA Soundworks Steel snare comes stock with an Evans G1 batter head and a set of TAMA Sound Arc hoops, which make it fast and easy to dial in snare sounds straight away.
