It’s hard to beat the simplicity of recording your bass guitar direct, and it’s also the best way to supplement your tone on stage (by running direct into the PA). Thankfully, the Ampeg V-4B bass amp has a built-in direct output with ground lift switch, so you don’t have to use a separate DI box.
