Based on Mesa’s extremely popular Trans-Class ultra-responsive amplifiers, the M6 Carbine gives your bass an exciting new voice that’s tight, punchy, and blazing fast. The M6 Carbine’s all-new, all-tube preamp section gives your tone teeth and serious attitude, and a time-tested array of custom-designed MOSFETs (also found in Mesa’s M-Pulse, Big Block, and Titan models) beefs up its sound and holds its bottom end together. The result is 600 solid watts of detailed and expressive bass that’s both 100% unique and 100% pure Mesa.

A truly expressive bass amp has three things that make it stand out from the rest: options, options, and more options. That’s exactly what you get with Mesa’s M6 Carbine! With separate DI and master volume sections as well as an FX loop with true bypass, the M6 Carbine gives you three excellent tone-shaping tools. On the front end, the M6 Carbine’s preamp offers a 3-section EQ with active Bass, passive Mid, and active Treble, for the standard set of tone-shaping control. But that’s just the beginning. The bass control takes your tone to another level altogether by adding a PULL DEEP function, and a mid-EQ VOICE feature lets you further define your sound with the turn of a knob.

The PULL DEEP control adds tons of tonal control to the M6 Carbine’s active low-end expression, allowing you to sculpt your sound beyond the limits of any typical bass head. Push in the PULL DEEP control and bask in the super-tight articulation and serious punch it gives your bass. For an overall warmer tone, pull out the M6 Carbine’s PULL DEEP control and let your bass growl and roar with enhanced sub-lows and extreme top-end air. Either way, PULL DEEP gives you two excellent options to quickly adjust your tone to match your playing style.

If you want to switch up your tone live, then the M6 Carbine’s VOICE feature is just what you need. Graphic EQs and fully parametric parameter adjustments are fine in the studio, but when you want to change the overall character of your tone in a live setting, you simply don’t have time to fuss with knobs. That’s where the M6 Carbine’s VOICE function comes in. Altogether, you get five EQ curves you can instantly call up, each clearly labeled with a graphic representation. With just a single knob or the click of a footswitch, you can change the overall EQ curve of your bass all the way from classically soulful and deep to the in-your-face punch that fingerstyle playing and modern rock demand. Dialing in the perfect bass tone couldn’t be easier!
