Featuring a two-piece basswood body, a stunning two-piece flame maple top, and a roasted maple neck, this guitar delivers a refined playing experience with outstanding tonal versatility.

Premium Tonewoods and Stunning Finish
The Modern Plus features a lightweight two-piece basswood body that delivers a balanced tonal response with a smooth midrange and excellent clarity. Its two-piece flame maple top adds visual depth and brightness to the instrument’s tonal character. The striking Faded Trans Whale Blue Burst gloss finish enhances the figured maple, giving the guitar a distinctive premium appearance.

Versatile HSH Pickup Configuration
Equipped with a versatile HSH pickup configuration, the Modern Plus is ready for a wide range of musical styles, from articulate clean passages to powerful high-gain tones.

The Suhr SSH+ bridge humbucker delivers high-output performance, strong harmonic detail, and the punch required for rock and metal. The Suhr V60LP middle single-coil provides sweet, rounded tones inspired by classic 1960s S-style guitars. At the neck, the Suhr SSV humbucker offers warm, vintage-inspired character with excellent clarity and note definition.

With dedicated volume and tone controls, this pickup combination provides a broad tonal palette for studio recording, live performances, and expressive playing.

Roasted Maple Neck for Exceptional Playability
The bolt-on roasted maple neck features Suhr’s Modern Elliptical profile, designed to provide a comfortable, fast, and stable feel across the fingerboard. Its compound 10″–14″ radius supports comfortable chord playing and smooth string bending, while the sculpted heel improves access to the upper frets.

The roasted maple fingerboard is fitted with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets for a smooth playing surface and excellent long-term durability. A 25.5″ scale length and 1.650″ Tusq nut complete a design built for precision and control.

Performance-Ready Hardware
The Suhr Modern Plus features a two-post tremolo system for expressive pitch manipulation and a set of Suhr locking tuners for dependable tuning stability and convenient string changes. Supplied with a gig bag, this guitar is ready for rehearsals, studio sessions, and live performances.
